He is the author of scientific papers published in top ABA scientific journals and was an editor of the Journal of Applied Behaviour Analysis. In this lecture he tells about Functional Communication Training (FCT) that is a common and effective intervention for various behaviour problems. This is a procedure in which a student is taught an alternative behaviour that produces the same reinforcer in order to reduce problem behaviour.
